Memorable Quotes
"Strap in your seatbelt Julie because this week is going to be one hell of a ride. Get ready for eye opening surprises and jaw dropping princesses."
- In reference to Dustin winning HOH; URTV2
"This is the veto ceremony. I would ask Diane to get on her knees and plea for herself to be saved, but I'm not going to. For those interested in what she might have said, it would be something along the lines of "I don't talk because James is in the house". This is a decision I thought long and hard about. Afterall, these are pretty lame nominations. Who in their right mind would put my most hated enemy against me on the block when they're targeting me? Maybe Princess is a little overconfident in himself. I could just leave nominations the same and let the people decide who to evict out of this ridiculous nomination. Or maybe I could save Diane just to save Princess the embarrassment. I've had a long, long talk with myself about this and I have decided it is clearly in my best interest to use the Power of Veto on myself. Princess must now make a replacement."
- James' veto speech, Week 3; URTV2
"Oh? That's okay. I'm sure your friends in the Jury House are bigger assholes by now from constantly gaping each other. Maybe you could join their party and "open up" without me around, hmmm? I know you're upset, just keep your chin up. It sucks knowing that the people that keep you aren't voting for you, but against someone. What a shame."
- Retort to Diane calling James a HUGE asshole; URTV2
"You're liked, I'm hated. You're a threat, I'm not. You're going home, I'm staying. Don't like it? Tough shit.."
- A confident James thinking he's staying against Alex; URTV2
"Congratulations, Jessica. You successfully frontdoored your ally."
- Reaction to staying over Parker; URTV2
Summary
Kevin was someone that was never afraid to say what's on his mind. He never made it far in a game, but he's one of the few guys I could say that left an undeniable impression in the game despite being a very early boot.
URTV1 Kevin, playing as Kasyar, was playing kind of strangely. His sttrategy left me scratching my head more often than not. He constantly made alliances simply to break them, had allies be evicted in the early parts of the game, and put himself up as a pawn. Unsurprisingly enough, he was early boot. Despite that, he was very active in the jury and produced some great arguments and debates with other members. Kevin is also credited for helping Michael to win URTV1 as he was his main campaign force in the debate threads and many have admitted to being swayed by him.
In URTV2, Kevin looked to be reprising exactly what he did in URTV1. He made an alliance with Mikey, Craig, and Bree. As soon as Nick won HOH, Kevin PMs him and tells him to put up Mikey/Bree. The alliance breaks soonafter and all hell is set loose. But it is here where Kevin, now known as his most well-known character of James Rhine, began to pull out a new strategy of "open Diary Room". Kevin basically posted saying exactly what was on his mind all the time. He called people out whenever he had the chance and discussed his alliances and strategy completely in the open. While on paper it sounded like eyebrow raising logic, it worked out for him as he was able to surpass incredible odds in two evictions he should have left in a landslide in. Sadly due to a poorly planned out partner twist in Week 5, he and big time rival Jenna found themselves partnered, nominated, and evicted together. Despite his short stay, his antics are still one of the most talked about subjects of URTV2.
After URTV2's conclusion, Kevin offered to Co-Host URTV3 with me and came up with the idea of having a staff section where people who decide not to play can help discuss the game as a replacement to the boring looking Joker's Updates feature. Unfortuantely when the time came, he was too busy to help contribute much. He's teased possible returns to URTV for URTV5: All-Stars, URTV8, and URTV9 - however all of them turned out to be simply hype. It's without question that he is one of the most demanded people on the "please come back" list - and for damn good reason.
